Wilder Plant Shop

I wanted to like Wilder Plant Shop because I enjoy supporting local businesses, but unfortunately my visit left me disappointed. The selection was much smaller than I expected, so there wasn't a lot to browse. What stood out even more, though, was the customer service. During our visit, the employee working seemed much more interested in staying on a phone call than welcoming customers or answering questions. We never felt acknowledged or invited to ask for help, which made the store feel unwelcoming. For me, customer service is just as important as the plants themselves. I enjoy visiting nurseries where employees are passionate, take the time to get to know their customers, offer recommendations, and genuinely enjoy talking about plants. That's the kind of experience that keeps me coming back. Unfortunately, I don't find that very often around this area anymore, and it's one of the reasons we end up doing much of our plant shopping in Asheville. There, you're made to feel like more than just another transaction. We often spend time talking with employees, learning something new, getting recommendations, and building relationships. That personal touch makes all the difference. Y

Hands down the best business I've ever stepped foot in. The owner is so kind and helpful, and the layout of the store is beautiful. Im from Georgia and would come back to South Carolina just to shop here.

This is the cutest little shop and the owner Is a wealth of information! She was so helpful answering all my questions and the store is so quaint and cozy. There is a wall of propagated plants where you can buy a propagation for $5 or you can bring in your own propagated plant and you can trade it for one on the wall. Such a fun way to add plants to your home!

Lovely plant shop, deceiving at first because the front is very retail forward, but the rear has a nice selection of houseplants. The shop keeper was very friendly and lovely to speak to, clearly very passionate about plants. I LOVE the bag they have to carry plants. It's a special height and plastic lined so won't break, it makes me want to bring a plant out on a walk around town.
